It’s the Greatest Show!

The Werrington Show is a key date in the community calendar celebrating its 75th anniversary year and, once again, Insurewise was delighted to sponsor this  local event which took place on Saturday 17th August 2024.

I popped along to take a look at all the amazing entries from people within the PE4 postcode area including horticulture, floral designs, cookery, preserves, art, handicrafts and photography and present the trophies to the winning entrants.

Despite the challenging weather conditions over the past few months the horticultural entries showcased including flowers, fruit and vegetables looked amazing, and the talented local arts and crafts people showcased their talents.  The cakes and other baked items looked and smelt wonderful and the photographs were simply stunning.  It was also good to see people of all ages take part in the Show, attracting people from the PE4 area and beyond to visit this event.

It must have been a hard job for the judges to select the winners, but they managed to do a great job and I had the pleasure of presenting the trophies, including the Insurewise Cup, to those who had been selected “the best” in their category.

And the winner of the Insurewise Cup went to Holly French.
