25 golfers travelled from all over the country and beyond to raise funds for the British Heart Foundation at the 7th annual Robert Memorial Golf Day on a sunny day in September.
Robert (Rob) was one of the founding members of Insurewise who sadly passed away in 2012 from a heart attack.
To celebrate his life, former work colleagues, family and friends have taken part in the annual memorial golf day to raise much needed funds for the British Heart Foundation.
In 2018 alone, we raised £1,031 and this event has raised over £6,000 for the BHF since the first match in 2012.
Neil McCulloch, MD, said “We are delighted to support the British Heart Foundation with their fundraising efforts to help them carry out the key research, help individuals with heart problems and their family and friends. Robert was a keen golfer and played golf with friends, work colleagues and family members for many years on courses in the UK and abroad. Robert was a member of Ringway Golf Club in Cheshire, so it feels right to play the annual memorial tournament at his home club. ”
“The players dug deep in their pockets to raise £1,031 on the day and I would like to personally thank everyone who contributed to such a good cause; the British Heart Foundation.”
